Information we may receive

Why this information is used
Personal data may be used to operate and secure the website, deliver research updates you requested, respond to correspondence, understand how the publication is used, maintain reliable services and meet applicable legal obligations.
WordPress.com and service providers
Cameralius is currently hosted on WordPress.com and uses WordPress.com and Jetpack functionality for services including hosting, site operation, statistics and newsletter subscriptions. These providers may process technical or personal data in order to deliver those services.
Google Analytics and consent
Cameralius uses Google Analytics 4, implemented through Google Site Kit, to understand how the publication is used. Analytics may process information such as page and event activity, browser or device information, referral information and approximate geographic information.
Analytics is treated as an optional statistics service. Cameralius uses Complianz, the WordPress Consent API and Google Consent Mode so that normal Google Analytics storage is enabled only after a visitor grants statistics consent. If statistics consent is denied, Google Analytics cookies are not stored on Cameralius. Logged-in WordPress users are excluded from Google Analytics measurement.
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using the Manage cookie preferences control in the site footer. More detail about cookies and categories is available in the Cookie Policy (EU).
Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to Cameralius research updates, your email address is used to provide those updates and manage your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link or subscription controls provided with the newsletter.
Retention
